Reduces All Blight Durations
Blight Resistance reduces the duration of all elemental blights like Fireblight or Iceblight. At max level, it can even negate elemental blights altogether.
This lets you stay in fights longer, as you won't need to spend too much time clearing blights with Nulberries or with blight specific mechanics (rolling to clear Fireblight).
Lower Levels Great With Coalescence
This skill synergizes well with Coalescence as it helps you quickly get rid of blights and activate the bonus elemental damage and status buildup.
Make sure, however, that you do not have level 3 Blight Resistance, as being immune to blights does not count as recovering from it.
