You can craft in your camp or while exploring to create powerful items in Monster Hunter Wilds. Learn about how to craft, what you can craft, and if crafting is in the open beta here!
To craft in your base camp, navigate to the Item Menu tab. Afterward, scroll down to the Crafting List to start crafting the items you need.
Once you are at the Crafting List, select the item you need to craft, set the amount you will craft, and press accept. Crafting items this way will take the materials in your Item Box.
Items you craft will go to your inventory if there is space. If there is no space, they instead be sent to your Item Box.
Alternatively, you can also craft while you are exploring the world. The steps are similar as when you craft in your Camp. The difference, however, is that you can only craft using the materials in your inventory.
If you do not have the necessary materials for an item, you cannot craft it. Make sure to plan ahead if you plan to do some crafting in between your hunts.
You can craft a wide variety of items, ranging from Consumables like Potions and Mega Potions, to Tools like PItfall Traps, and even Bullets.
Crafting also gives you access to powerful items like Ancient Potions or Mega Demondrugs, which you cannot buy from the vendors.
Although you can buy supplies like Potions or Bullets from the vendor, crafting them actually saves you money as you can get the materials for free from exploring the world.
As crafting is an important part of the hunting experience, you are able to craft during the game's Open Beta.
Additionally, the Open Beta actually gives players a lot of items from the start, so you will be able to craft the items you need easily.
