The Final Boss in Chapter 3 can only be fought once during the Main Story and cannot be rematched after completing the mission.
Once the battle concludes, the game will automatically save, preventing any chance of replaying the encounter. Its hunt will also never reappear on the Quest List after this point, unlike other monsters.
Low Rank Final Boss Guide and How to Beat
Although you can't personally replay the Quest at will, you can still respond to other players' SOS Flares for the associated Quest. While you won't be able to relive the fight solo, you can still experience the thrill of the hunt and assist fellow hunters in their battle!

Unlike in previous Monster Hunter games, upgrading a weapon in Wilds is permanent—you cannot dismantle a forged weapon and reclaim the materials used.
If you want to craft a weapon from a different branch of the upgrade tree, you'll need to start fresh by forging its base version.

Alternatively, if you mistakenly invest materials into the wrong weapon upgrade, you can reclaim them by exiting the game without saving.
When you reopen the game, it will be as if the upgrade never happened, since the game reloads your latest autosave or manual save point instead.

Event Quests are only available for a limited time, typically lasting a week or two, and cannot be replayed once they expire. Be sure to complete them within the given time frame to earn exclusive rewards, such as unique armor sets and Layered Armor!
Event Quests Schedule and Rewards

Once dialogues with NPCs have passed in the game's story, you won't be able to go back and choose a different option. This is a minor unchangeable or replayable feature but if you really want to understand the game's story, be sure to pay attention to dialogues!
List of Characters and All Voice Actors

Your current playthrough's progress is saved only on your current platform. This essentially means that you won't be able to play and progress your file by transferring to a different platform.
Available Platforms and Consoles Guide

By using Character or Palico Edit Vouchers, you'll be able to change your character's appearance as well as their name.
If you took a wrong turn with your character creation or found a more suitable name and look to your character, you'll need to use a voucher to change your entire character.

How to Change Character Appearance

Unlike story dialogues, story cutscenes and the credit scene can be replayed in the game's gallery so don't be afraid if you have accidentally skipped or missed a cutscene.
