Agitator is an Armor Skill that increases Attack and Affinity when against enraged monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds. Learn the effects of Agitator and see a list of armor, decorations, and talismans with the Agitator skill.

Agitator Skill
Increases attack power and affinity when large monsters become enraged.
Level Effect
1 Attack +4 and affinity +3% while active.
2 Attack +8 and affinity +5% while active.
3 Attack +12 and affinity +7% while active.
4 Attack +16 and affinity +10% while active.
5 Attack +20 and affinity +15% while active.

Agitator increases the Raw Attack and Affinity of your weapon when fighting against enraged monsters. Note that the monsters need to be enraged or angry for it to activate, with the game notifying you if Agitator becomes active.

Best Offensive Skill in the Late Game

Agitator is by far the best offensive skill to get in the late game of Monster Hunter Wilds. Most of the late game monsters tend to get enraged quickly, so this skill will activate more often than not.

Be sure to get atleast an Agitator 5 if you're looking to bolster your damage and pair with either Maximum Might or Weakness Exploit to bump up your affinity.

Agitator Uptime

Improve Uptime by Dealing Damage

Monsters rage after taking a certain amount of damage. While monsters differ on their damage threshold before raging, hunters should strive to deal a lot of damage in the opening minute to activate Agitator early.

Playing well and dealing enough damage will consistently make the monster rage, providing the player more uptime with Agitator.
