Kunafa, Windsong Village
Y'sai can usually be found in the Seikret stable in Kunafa, Windsong Village. If he's not around, rest at a pop-up camp, set the time to Daylight, and change the weather to Plenty. This should make him appear in the southeastern part of the village near the livestock pen.

A Leviathan's Temper
Starting the A Leviathan's Temper requires you to find Y'sai. Doing this quest will eventually force you to fight Tempered Balahara, so make sure you're prepared for this!

| Meal Buff | Explanation |
| Lucky Meal | When active, Hunters have a chance to receive more rewards at the end of a quest. |
| Insurance Meal | Fainting while Insurance Meal is active will not be counted toward quest results. Gives the hunter one extra try at completing a hunt without additional penalties and can only be activated once during its duration. |
| Defender Meal (Hi) | Often decreases damage taken. |
| Note: Only the first three buffs are permanent and other buffs that follow are always randomized! | |
Y'sai will also occassionally invite you to have a meal in their settlement. These provide better Food Skills and last longer than regular meals eaten inside the tent or from the Portable BBQ Grill.
