A walkthrough for Long-Forgotten Flame in Monster Hunter Wilds. Read on for a detailed guide of Long-Forgotten Flame, including mission rewards, and bosses, as well as useful tips for the quest, and completing this mission!

| A Disquieting Dawn | Born from the Flame |
When you arrive at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp, take your Seikret and exit out to Area 4. From there take a sharp turn into Area 9 and travel along the cliff until you get the prompt to jump down. Once you do, you can glide straight into Area 15 where the Nu Udra is.
An alternate way of finding Nu Udra is to find its traces as you travel down the Oilwell Basin. If you investigate this, like the half-digested food on Area 7, you will be able to use its scent and have the Seikret follow its location automatically.
Keep a careful eye out since these traces, they look like black goop and is very easily missed on the ground.

| 1 |  You arrive back to Azuz in time to find out that repairs are completed on the Firespring. Gemma warns Werner that forcing the Firespring to start will have dire consequences. ┗ Upgrade Your Gear Before You Proceed |

| 2 |  Lighting the Firespring has attracted the Ajarakan to the village. Gemma urges the villagers to find a solution to their problem. They figure out that lighting the Old Forge can redirect the fire from the Firespring, Gemma will temporarily leave your party to help them. |
Make sure to do all the upgrades to your gear before this. Gemma will be leaving the party temporarily and you won't be able to access the smithy.
| 1 |  Protect the village and repel the Ajarakan. Make sure to have a cool drink to counteract the Heat. You need to stop the Ajarakan before they reach the village. |

| 3 |  At some point in the battle the Ajarakan will ignite itself; during this time it will have enhanced attacks, so be careful and dodge if you can. Return to Azuz after defeating it. |

So avoid staying on it for too long. You have time to do this, the Nu Udra won't attack until you strike first. After taking damage, it will try to flee, chase after it and finish the hunt |
