This Low-Rank Light Bowgun built to transition into High Rank uses the G. Veldian Impetum I due to its access to Opening Shot Lv 2 and rapid-fire with Spread Lv 2. The G. Veldian Impetum I also has access to special ammunition like Sticky, Water, and Freeze ammo, giving you different damage options when necessary.

If you still prefer using Normal ammunition, the Dosha Faithbreaker II has rapid-fire with Normal Lv 2 and access to Opening Shot Lv 2. Furthermore, this is a direct upgrade to the first build, allowing you to transition seamlessly.

The G. Arkveld Mail can work as an alternative chest piece if you would prefer more raw damage with Wounds over Maximum Might's emphasis on Affinity. It provides an additional level of Flayer, allowing the build to focus more on building up wounds that buff up Weakness Exploit.

Slotting this in will also unlock the Decimator set bonus skill, wherein you will heal for a significant amount whenever you break wounds. As the Light Bowgun is one of the best in terms of opening and breaking wounds, you will gain a lot of health back with this set bonus!

This build is focused on having high Affinity by mixing Critical Eye, Maximum Might, and Weakness Exploit. The build also has Flayer to further increase the damage dealt to wounds thanks to the new addition to Weakness Exploit.

The build also includes Stamina Surge and Constitution so that you can constantly have your Maximum Might active since the LBGs rarely consume stamina, even with multiple dodges and dashes!

Furthermore, this build has two additional set bonuses that serve as extra touches:

Wylk Burst - You gain additional recovery whenever you are near Wylkrystals. Only useful while in Ruins of Wyvernia.
Scorcher - Given that you fire multiple attacks, Scorcher will consistently apply the additional fire damage with each shot!

Best Secondary Weapons

Recommended Mantle

As you will rarely get hit using the LBG, the Mending Mantle will allow you to keep your DPS active if you do get hit as it will passively heal you!
