How to Unlock Ruins of Wyveria

Reach HR 20

Reach HR 20

Reaching HR 20 unlocks a mission and an assignment that will send you back to Ruins of Wyveria! This can happen naturally when you progress the story.

Do note that, you will access Ruins of Wyveria for the first time at Chapter 3, Full Circle. However, you will be locked out of it when you reach Chapter 4. Reaching HR 20 is the only way you could return and gain full access!

Finish Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns

Monster Hunter Wilds - Hunt all monsters
You will return to Ruins of Wyveria during Chapter 4's Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns. Here, you'll be assigned to the Thundering Flowers assignment which you can unlock once you reach HR 20.

During this mission, you have to hunt two monsters, namely the Guardian Fulgur Anjanath and Tempered Lala Barina.

Monster Hunter Wilds - Main Story Ends

Make sure to finish all the main story missions you've unlocked as this will increase your Rank! If you have a difficult time hunting a monster, you could use the SOS Flare and call other players, or Support Hunters.

The other option is completing Side Missions, which you can unlock starting from Chapter 1! There are more than 11 of them throughout the game, which gives you a lot to choose from.
