Protein Fiend is a Set Bonus Skill under the Xu Wu's Vigor set in Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) that grants the player additional attack after consuming a meat item. Xu Wu's Vigor Set Bonus Effects
Protein Fiend gives the player a boost to their attack values after consuming a meat item. This fits well with players who want to end their hunts faster!
Increases Base Attack for Two Minutes

After consuming a meat item such as a Well-done Steak or a Burnt Meat, Protein Fiend activates instantly. Activation of Protein Fiend gives the player a boost in their base attack value.
This bonus lasts for two minutes at both levels. This can be activated multiple times, allowing for consistent uptime throughout a hunt.
Protein Fiend Activation
Consuming a Well-done Steak or a Burnt Meat instantly activates Protein Fiend. Once the animation finishes, a notification will appear on the right indicating the bonus is active.
Does Not Stack With Might Seed and Might Pill
The Might Seed and Might Pill do not stack. Instead, the highest attack boost takes priority until its duration runs out and then uses the smaller buff if it still has time remaining.
For example, if you consume a Well-done Steak to activate Protein Fiend I, this gives you an attack boost of +15 for 2 minutes. If you then take a Might Pill, your attack boost becomes +25 for 20 seconds.
Take note that the duration of Protein Fiend is not paused during Might Pill's activation.

RareKush 8 monthsthe info about it not stacking with certain buffs is wrong and missleading. protein feind is in the same group as might seed and might pill. it will only take the highest of those three. the other buffs stack with protein feind. demon powder stacks, demon drug and mega demondrug also stack with protein feind. it's made to be a stronger might seed. might seed is +10, prot.feind is +15 and might pill is +25. only those three overwrite each other by the higher amount but never lowers it
