How to Change Name in Monster Hunter Wilds
Edit From the Character Selection Screen
You can perform a name change for your character in the character slection screen. Once there, select the option to edit your hunter. This will allow you to enter the character creator screen again.
If you don't plan to change anything about your character's appearance, you can go straight to the name input step and enter your character's new name.
Doing this will consume 1 Character Edit Voucher.

Character Edit Vouchers Are Likely Paid DLC
As with the previous games, Character Edit Vouchers are likely going to be a paid DLC, so you will need to pay anytime you want to perform a name change or a character edit in Wilds.
It is possible, however, that the game will distribute a limited amount of Character Edit Vouchers for free, as they have done so before.
