Accept the Smithy's Seal of Quality Quest
| 1 |  Talk to Gemma in any of the base camps to start the side mission. After her dialogue ends, head to Alma and accept the optional quest Smithy's Seal of Quality. |

| 2 |  Head to Area 12 to find Gemma as well as your target monster, Lala Barina ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Lala Barina |
| 3 |  Return to Gemma in any of the base camps to complete this side-quest. She will now be unlocked as a hunting assistant as a reward for completing it. |
Use Gemma's Prototype Snare
Head to Area 12 where you can also find Lala Barina and wait for Gemma to set up her trap.
Lure the Lala Barina into the pitfall trap to complete this optional objective, as well as leaving the Lala Barina defenseless for a few moments.

 Avoid the florets, flower-like objects that float above the ground. When touched, the florets will paralyze you.You can try and go in between its legs to make it harder for it to attack you. |

Unlocks Gemma as a Hunting Assistant
Aside from the standard mission rewards, you'll also be able to unlock Gemma as a Hunting Assistant! You'll now be able to have her help you out on specific areas as an extra helper during your hunts.
How to Unlock Smithy's Seal of Quality
Complete New Ecosystem and High-Quality Materials
To unlock Smithy's Seal of Quality mission, you will need to complete the New Ecosystem main mission in Chapter 4. Once done, talk to Gemma in the Base Camp to proceed with High-Quality Materials mission.
