How to Unlock A Silent Flash

Available in the Event Quest Tab

MH Wilds - Events Quest

A Silent Flash is a permanently available Event Quest featuring Arch-Tempered Rey Dau. It became a permanent quest on July 22, 2025, at 8:00 PM EDT.

Completing this quest rewards hunters with additional Arch-Tempered Rey Dau materials, which are used to craft the Rey Dau γ armor set and the Felyne Rey Dau γ set for Palicoes.

Only Playable From HR 50 or Higher

To proceed with A Silent Flash, you'll need to be at least HR 50 to join the said event quest.

Rey Dau

Rey Dau can be difficult to deal with when it is flying in the air, so make sure to bring Flash Pods to knock it to the ground whenever it takes flight. Use Focus Strike on its Horns after it performs a lightning beam attack, to gain a free topple!

Grounding Rey Dau's resting spot will also make the fight easier if it makes its way back, so make sure to use Grounding Pods you see lying around!
