No Official Patch Notes Released
The Day One patch is already available for download, but no patch notes were released for the update.
We speculate that the Day One patch contains bug fixes and some finishing touches for the game before its launch. It is also highly unlikely that there is new content added as the release of the game is near.
Physical and Digital Version Updates
While there are no announcements regarding patch notes, all players on all platforms will receive a 17 GB update!
You can play the game as soon as it is available and download the game in the background if you cannot wait or if you were not able to download it yet.
Version 1.000.020 Day One Patch Release Date
February 26, 2025
The Day One Patch was announced on February 26, 2025, two days before the game's release. The update was included for those who preloaded the game, and needs to be downloaded for those who will play the game with a physical disc.
Preloads Are Available!
Preloading for Monster Hunter Wilds is now available for all consoles!
Xbox and PC players had preloads available since last February 25, 2025 at 9 PM PT globally, while PlayStation 5 preloads started at midnight, local time last February 26, 2025 for each region.
The game will release on February 28, 2025 for all platforms.
