Main Objectives
1	Help Werner Test His Invention ┣ Lure a Monster to Werner ┗ Try Out Werner’s Multi-Stage Explosive ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Guardian Doshaguma

Help Werner Test His Invention

1	Talk to Werner to start this side quest. He can be found in the Ruins of Wyveria Base Camp, in Area 6. He has developed a concoction mixed with Wyvern's Milk. Help him test his new invention.
2	After making your preparations, talk to Alma to proceed. Accept the optional quest Werner's Test Run and depart as soon as you're ready.
3	Defeat the Guardian Doshaguma in order to progress. This section may be completed with or without doing the optional objective of luring the monster the Werner, but we highly recommend doing it. ┣ Lure a Monster to Werner ┗ Try Out Werner’s Multi-Stage Explosive ▶︎Monster Hunt: Guardian Doshaguma
4	When you return from the optional quest, report back to Werner in the Ruins of Wyveria in Area 6 and finish his dialog to complete this side mission.

Lure a Monster to Werner

Once inside, you can lure any monster to Werner to accomplish this first optional objective. Since the main target is the Guardian Doshaguma, it's better to choose it as the target to lure.

Try Out Werner’s Multi-Stage Explosive

Lure the target to the explosives that Werner's Palico will lay out in the open.

The explosives don't have to be triggered by the monster, you can trigger the explosives yourself. This completes the optional objective, and also does significant damage to the monster if all the explosions hit.

Guardian Doshaguma Fight Tips
Use Werner's multi-stage explosives to inflict significant damage. Take advantage of its fire weakness and bring fire elemental weapons or fire ammunition. Focus on the Forelegs, using Sever Damage will yield the highest damage Dodge to the Side, most of its attacks are focused on the front or side. This keeps you out of range for the claw and bite attacks and raises your chance of toppling the monster
