Monster Hunter Wilds - Male Kunafa α Set

To unlock the Kunafa Alpha Armor Set, you'll first need to obtain a Dalthydon Wool. This item piece is obtained via Item Trading with Kilama in the Kunafa village or from Gawdygog in Wudwud Village.

The Azuz Alpha armor set requires an Azuz Tanned Leather. To unlock the said leather, you'll once again need to do some trading but this time, with traders from Azuz, Dogard, and Yabran specifically. Additionally, you can also potentially get the leather from Gawdygog.

Unlike the other secret sets in the list, the Artian Alpha Armor set is not unlocked by obtaining specific ingredients. Instead, you'll need to complete the What We Protect quest in Chapter 5. After doing so, you'll be able to unlock the armor set for crafting.

How to Unlock Secret Armor Sets

Only Unlockable in High Rank

Capture a High Rank Yian Kut-Ku

To unlock the current set of secret armor sets, you'll first need to progress the game and reach High Rank (HR). Once done, you'll be able to proceed with completing the main unlock condition of each secret set.

How to Unlock High Rank

Obtain Specific Ingredients

Most armor sets are unlocked by obtaining their main item component and this is the same for these sets. The items required for these sets however, is not obtained by normal means. Instead, you'll need to proceed with Item Trading to obtain unique materials used to craft these armor sets.
