How to Unlock Congalala Cravings

The Congalala Cravings is a limited time event quest that only runs from March 25 ET to April 1, 7PM ET. Gather the Droolshrooms, which you can use as an additional ingredient for cooking on the BBQ grill.

Only Playable From HR 9 or Higher

To proceed with the Congalala Cravings quest, you'll need to be at least HR 9 to join the said event quest.

Accept the Quest From the Event Quests Tab

From the Quest Counter, select the Event Quests Tab and select Congalala Cravings to accept this quest. You can do this by speaking to Alma or opening the Quest Counter from the Tent.

Bring Deodorants to Cure Stench

As Congalala's Stench prevents the usage of consumable items, it is important to carry Deodorants to the hunt to quickly remove the debuff whenever needed. It is also good to make use of Purewasps that you can find in the environment is these can remove most negative status effects as well.

Start from Pop-up Camp Near Area 7

Scarlet Forest Area 7 Pop-up Camp

Congalala during this quest will always start in Area 6 of the Scarlet Forest. You can quickly reach the target monster if you start off from the Area 7: Bower of the Great Tree Pop-up Camp

Bring Fire Weapons

Congalala is weak to Fire, so if you're planning to farm Droolshrooms with this quest, it is recommended to use weapons with the Fire element to speed up the process.

If you're only planning to clear this quest a few times, then any weapon would do.

Using Sever damage on Congalala's Head yields the highest damage with fire being the most recommended element to use. Avoid attacking its belly since this is its toughest part of its body, and make sure to have Deodorant on you so you can remove Stench when needed.

The main reward for this event are Droolshrooms whiich you can use as additional ingredients when cooking on the BBQ Grill. Cooking is an essential part of the game since the buffs they provide can greatly boost your success when hunting monsters.
