There are 5 Palico side missions in total, each of which unlocks a Palico support move upon completion. Complete the entire questline to unlock all available Palico Support Moves.

Healing Help is unlocked after capturing a Yian Kut-Ku in the New Ecosystems main quest in Chapter 4.
Your Palico wants to help you during your hunts. It will ask you to catch a Vigorwasp with the Capture Net. Catch one and return to your Palico to unlock a skill.

This quest is unlocked after completing the Rath-from-Above, Go! side mission, advancing to chapter 6, and completing A Break in the Clouds main quest.
Your Palico surmises that while Vigorwasps are useful, they are of no help if the hunter is knocked out. It has an idea it wants to try out and asks you to capture a Giant Vigorwasp for him. Catch one and return to your Palico.

These flying insects are a lifesaver when you're out on a hunt. They restore more health than a regular Vigorwasp. They can be found at any time of day during Plenty weather.

Palico Mission Questline
Help Your Palico Learn New Moves
The Palico questline would have the hunter venturing into different areas, capturing endemic life, or participating in hunts. Each successful Palico mission will unlock a Palico Support Move, which the Palico can use during a hunt to assist the player.
The Palico missions give Hunters a lot of freedom in how they approach the missions, as it does not matter which region hunter captures the desired target, as long as the mission objectives are met.
