Monster Hunter Wilds How to Switch Weapons

Players can now change and switch Weapons without returning to a camp in Monster Hunter Wilds.Learn how to switch your weapons and change your weapin mid-hunt!

How to Switch Weapons

Press the Right D-Pad or X on the Keyboard to Switch Weapons

Press the right D-Pad to switch your equipped weapon and ride your Seikret in one go. Alternatively, you can also press the X key if you're playing on the keyboard and mouse.

Of course, you can also do this while riding a Seikret, which means you can use this feature as you're moving, and fighting a monster.

Seikret Mount Features and Abilities

You Can Bring Two of the Same Weapon

You can have the same weapon type as your primary and secondary weapons. For example, you can have two Great Swords with different attributes equipped.

How to Change Weapons

Change Weapons While in Camp

Monster Hunter Wilds - Change Weapons
While inside a camp go to your tent and enter it. Once there, select the Change Equipment option.

This will allow you to select your Primary and Secondary weapon. Your Primary weapon will be equipped as soon as you exit your tent, while the Seconday weapon will be on your Seikret.

All Weapon Types Can Be Equipped

All weapon types can be used as both Primary and Secondary weapons. Simply choose a combination of any that fits your playstyle and maximizes your Armor Skills.
