| 3 | Attacks that hit weak points gain affinity +15%, with an extra 10% on wounds. | ||||||||||
| 4 | Attacks that hit weak points gain affinity +20%, with an extra 15% on wounds. | ||||||||||
| 5 | Attacks that hit weak points gain affinity +30%, with an extra 20% on wounds. | ||||||||||
Weakness Exploit increases the affinity of attacks when targeting weakpoints and/or wounds. The biggest bonus is achieved when done together, with level 5 Weakness Exploit providing a whopping +50% affinity when attacking a wounded weakpoint.

Weakness Exploit works by increasing affinity on attacks that hit monster parts that have a 3 or 4 star rating on the Large Monster Field Guide. This is usually the head, but some monsters may need their weakpoints exposed first. Note that a few 3 star parts may not activate the skill due to hitzone values.

Bonus Affinity on Wounds
Additional affinity is given whenever you're hitting Wounds on the weakpoint. This is largely dependent on the existence of wounds though, so you may need to consider that.
