Title Update 1 for Monster Hunter Wilds is now live! The update was released on April 4, 2025, which introduced Mizutsune, High Rank Zoh Shia, the Grand Hub, and other new content to the game.
Additional updates will be available starting April 22 with the introduction of Seasonal Events and an Event Quest featuring Arch-Tempered Rey Dau on April 29, with more features are expected around May.

Monster Hunter Wilds needs to be updated before any content from Title Update 1 can be accessed. Each platform has a different download size for the update, so make sure you have enough storage space in your device!

The first Arch-Tempered monster in the game, Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, is now available from April 29 ET to May 13, 8 PM ET. A Hunter Rank of 50 is needed to be able to start this quest.
Arch-Tempered monsters are even tougher variants of monsters more health and can execute a couple of new moves.

Mizutsune, the majestic Leviathan which debuted in Monster Hunter Generations, is the first post-launch monster to be added in Monster Hunter Wilds! It will be available to hunt starting HR 21, where you need to complete The Whispering Forest and Spirit in the Moonlight extra missions.
Mizutsune can use bubble attacks which can inflict Bubbleblight, a status condition which can make your hunter slip and slide across the field. This agile monster can also use its long body to slam any hunter from a distance.

Hunters who reach HR 41 will be able to hunt Tempered Mizutsune, as it will start appearing in the Environmental Overview of some maps like other Tempered monsters after reaching this rank.

Originally a one-time boss fight, Zoh Shia will be making a return to High Rank! It is an 8-star monster and is fought in the Dragontorch once again during Wyvern's Wakening in the Ruins of Wyveria. New high-rank weapons, armor, and Palico equipment will be available for forging upon defeating it.
You can encounter Zoh Shia from Field Surveys and Investigations after completing the Chapter 6 quests, An Unexpected Summons and A First Cry.

Title Update 1 also introduces The Grand Hub. This is a new gathering place where you can meet, communicate, and cook with other hunters! It will bring features like arm-wrestling and Barrel Bowling, which can potentially give you some hunting items. This will be accessible once you reach HR 16 and talk to Tetsuzan in Suja.

Seasonal Events will be coming starting April 22 starting with the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance. During Seasonal Festivals, the Grand Hub will change its appearance and meals and you'll be able to obtain limited equipment and cosmetics. Seasonal events will also rerun older event quests.
Festival of Accord: Blossomdance Event

The Grand Hub is filled with all sorts of springtime decorations to celebrate the festival. Cherry blossom trees have replaced the greenery in the area, and lanterns have been hanged all around the tents in the hub.

The Diva also has a new performance during the festival, and will sing on the stage more frequently than normal. She will still provide buffs just like in her regular performances.
How to Get Buffs from The Diva

A new meal is available at the canteen during the festival. the Bloomdance Sushi Meal can be ordered at the tables with the use of the Blossomdance Voucher.

New Limited Bounties are also available during the festival. Blossom Barrel Bombs, Blossomdance Tickets, and Blossomdance Vouchers can be obtained from completing these bounties.

Alma will also don a new outfit during the festival. She will change into the new outfit after talking to her in the Grand Hub.

Title Update 1 also features the return of Arena Quests in the Grand Hub. These will feature an Expedition Record Board where you can compete for the fastest clear times and take on additional limited bounties.

Also coming with Arena Quests are limited-time Challenge and Free Challenge Quests. These will come with Pendants as participation rewards. Arena and Challenge Quests are done with preset equipment and is limited to two players while Free Challenge Quests don't have these limits.

More Event Quests, which are free downloadable quests which offer special rewards, will be added in the game in the first Title Update. Like in the first set of event quests, these will offer unique rewards upon completing them, like new armor and ingredients.

Title Update 1 will also allow players to change Alma's outfit and glasses. One outfit, presumably the Scrivener's Coat, will be given for free to try out. Her glasses will be available for customization after completing a side mission.
The Apple of Her Eye quest will unlock Alma's new glasses, and even unlock the new Square Glasses α and Strategist Spectacles α armor for you to craft!

Monster Hunter Wilds' first paid DLC pack, which consists of layered armor, poses, and the like, will also release alongside the first Title Update.
These are already included with the Premium Deluxe edition of the game and can be puchased individually or with the Cosmetic DLC Pass. Additionally, more DLC that aren't in the pack will be added and be available for purchase.

Patch notes for the Version 1.010.00.00 of the game has been released before Title Update 1 is available.
Among new content for the first Title Update, several weapons and items received balance adjustments. A couple of bug fixes were also implemented in the update.
