Farm Guild Points by completing quests and capturing Endemic Life in Monster Hunter Wilds. Learn how to farm Guild Points, where to use them, and what they are in this guide.

In the Ver. 1.011.00.00 update, the Guild Points you acquire from most whoppers have significantly increased, specifically for the Gastronome Tuna and Speartuna.
We recommend farming for Gastronome Tuna the most as they tend to spawn in groups, and they have more spawning conditions than the Speartuna. During Plenty weather in the Morning, they have an increased chance to spawn in Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest. During Inclemency weather in the Daytime or Nighttime, they have an increased chance to spawn in Area 12 of the Scarlet Forest.
Use Tuff Joint Bait and slowly reel your line to attract Gastronome Tuna to bite your bait.

Note: The image on the third step shows the amount of Guild Points rewarded by catching Goldenfish before the Ver. 1.011.00.00 update.
Before the Ver. 1.011.00.00 update, Goldenfish and Platinumfish rewarded 50 and 100 Guild Points respectively, making it one of the best ways to farm for Guild Points in earlier versions of the game. After the update, the Guild Point rewards are now 10 for Goldenfish and 20 for Platinumfish.
While the amount has decreased significantly, you can still use this farming method if you want some extra Guild Points, as their spawning in Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest hasn't changed.

Completing quests is one of the primary ways to farm Guild Points. If you have any active quests, make sure to complete them to earn more Guild Points for spending.

Fishing can also grant you Guild Points. You can earn at least 5 points per catch, but this can go higher depending on the fish you catch.
To fish, simply equip your Fishing Rod and look for a nearby body of water. Some areas may not have fish, so keep exploring if the closest one is empty.

If you spot a Large Monster in the map you'd like to hunt later on, you can save it as an Investigation using Guild Points. This way, you can hunt it at a more convenient time. Some investigations even guarantee rare materials!

Resting in your tent also lets you change the weather as well as the current time. For 500 Guild Points, you can skip to the next day with any weather or time-of-day of your choice.

Guild Points are the only currency accepted when purchasing items requested from the Support Ship. You can use them to get a variety of items, including items, materials, and weapons.

Pop-Up Camps also require Guild Points to set up. Be sure to have enough if you plan to set up camps during your adventures.

Pop-Up Camps can be destroyed by Large Monsters in the area. One way to repair them is by using Guild Points. Make sure you farm Guild Points, as repairs can be expensive.

Guild Points are a kind of currency in Monster Hunter Wilds. While Zenny is used for the usual transactions, Guild Points are used for saving investigations, changing the time and weather, setting up and repairing Pop-Up Camps, and buying things from the Support Ship.
