Is There An Optimization Patch?
CPU and GPU Optimizations Expected in Title Update 4
The August Director's Letter confirmed that an optimization patch for PC is planned for Title Update 4, releasing in Winter. The planned optimizations include reducing CPU and GPU load, followed by a second round of updates.
Optimization Patch History
Ver 1.020 Upscaling and VRAM Update
Title Update 2 added support for DLSS4 and FSR4 upscaling options to improve framerate at the cost of some sharpness and slightly reduced image quality. Note that you will need a compatible GPU to use these features.
Updates were also made to VRAM usage, reducing the overall requirement when texture streaming and fixing issues where incorrect values were displayed.

Ver 1.011 VRAM Optimization
This update's patch notes mentioned that VRAM usage has been optimized. No other performance patches were included.
