A second open beta has been announced and is set to have release periods from February 6, 7 PM PT, to February 9, 6:59 PM PT, and from February 13, 7 PM PT, to February 16, 6:59 PM PT.
The new open beta will be available for all platforms during both testing periods. New monsters are going to be introduced, alongside the content of the first open beta.

A Pre-Launch Community Update livestream was held on December 19, 2024 showcasing the number of improvements and adjustments coming to the game when it launches on February 28, 2025.
Pre-Launch Community Update Summary
If you preordered Monster Hunter Wilds, you will receive a free Guild Knight Set Layered Armor. This preorder bonus is available for all editions of the game.
If you preordered the PlayStation 5 version of the game, you will receive a Digital Mini Art Book as an exclusive preorder bonus for that platform.

Players that have Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne save data will be able to claim Palico armor sets, Palico weapons, and nameplates that you can use in Monster Hunter Wilds.
