The Event: Mark of a True King challenge quest has ended. This challenge quest was previously available from September 16, 2025 (ET) to October 21, 2025 (ET).

This challenge quest will be used as the final quest for the Monster Hunter Wilds USA Championship 2025. Hunters who are planning to sign up for the tournament can practice this quest in-game before the championship. Those who won't be participating can still enjoy this challenge!

Only Playable From HR 16 or Higher

Grand Hub Quest Counter
To proceed with the Event: Ignition to the Top quest, you would need to be at least HR 16 to be able to take on the quest at the Grand Hub.

Rathalos

Rathalos is weakest to attacks to the Head, especially against the Dragon element. As a Flying Wyvern, you can temporarily take Rathalos out of the air by using Flash Pods or by breaking its wounds.

No Unique Rewards

There are no unique rewards for the challenge quest version of this event. However, you can use this quest to test your skills with the available weapon types.

Winners of the Championship Will Win Numerous Prizes

After passing the qualifying round, which will use the Event: Ignition to the Top challenge quest, the remaining contestants will proceed to the final round, which will use the Event: Mark of a True King challenge quest to determine the winner, based on fastest completion times.

All participants of the tournament will receive a Monster Hunter Wilds goodie bag. The top 6 teams will get a Monster Hunter Wilds Baby Seikret Plush and Rathalos hoodie. Finally, the top 3 teams will receive trophies based on their placement. The winners of the championship will get all aforementioned prizes!
