Confirmed Changes and Fixes
・[Fixed] When talking to Nata in Chapter 6-1: Links in a Chain, a black screen appears, preventing further game progress. This issue will resolve by completing the Lagiacrus extra mission “Trembling Blue Currents.” In order to unlock this extra mission, you must complete the side mission “Forest Doshaguma.” ・ [Fixed] The Lagiacrus Assignment cannot be reaccepted on some occasions. ・[Fixed] The Seregios Assignment cannot be reaccepted on some occasions. ・[Fixed] Lagiacrus may enter a state of swimming in the air. ・[Fixed] A bug which caused the locations of Pop-Up Camps to unintentionally change under certain conditions. For players who encountered this issue before the hotfix patch, please remove the Pop-Up Camps and then set them up again to resolve the issue. ・[Fixed] The Lagiacrus may swim in the sky on some occasions. ・[Fixed]When battling the Lagiacrus in multiplayer, the hunter may become unresponsive to any controls. ・[Fixed] When battling the Lagiacrus, the Support Hunter may not come out of the water. ・[Fixed] When mounting the Seregios with a Great Sword or Heavy Bowgun, some attacks may not register. ・[Fixed] When using the Charge Blade, sharpness decreases more than before. ・[Fixed] A Field Survey History may be deleted on some occasions. ・[Fixed] A bug which caused the sizes of monsters in Investigation Quests saved before the Title Update 2 patch to change after it was applied. (This does not affect quests first saved after the patch.) This hotfix patch will also restore the sizes of monsters in Investigation Quests. ・[Fixed] A bug which caused the colors of the Seikret saved before the Title Update 2 patch to change to the default color when selecting Seikret Customization after it was applied. (This does not affect the colors first saved after the patch.) This hotfix patch will restore the colors of the Seikret to the settings saved before the Title Update 2 patch. If adjustments have been made after encountering this issue, the new color adjustments will remain.

Version 1.020.02.00 will primarily focus on bug fixes that have been observed since Title Update 2 released. One of which is the bug that causes monster sizes to change in investigation quests, resulting in investigations to lose their Crowns. Furthermore, the Charge Blade will receive a fix to make its sharpness decrease appropriate.

Save Your Investigations with Crowns for Now

It is recommended to save your investigations for now until you have updated to this game version, as this update will restore the correct monster sizes.

・The text for the Cosmetic DLC Pass is not displayed correctly in the Claim Content menu at the Support Desk. (PS5 only) ・If adjustments have been made to the Keyboard Configuration settings before the update, keys assigned to Ascend and Descend for Underwater Controls may have duplicate control binds. (Steam only) *To avoid this issue, open the Keyboard Configuration settings and reassign the key that shares a control assignment with Ascend/Descend. ・When viewing the rankings for a new Challenge Quest or Free Challenge Quest, the following incorrect message is displayed: This is a repeated quest. You can view the results from when it was last available.
