Cactuar Location and Effects
Found in Omega Planetes Hunt
Cactuars, together with a Morbol Seedling, can be found during the battle with Omega Planetes in Rimechain Peak, specifically in the Delta Attack phase where a Nerscylla Clone spawns. Cactuars here can be triggered to deal continuous damage against monsters near it.
Omega Planetes Weakness and Drops
Can Deal Damage to the Nerscylla Clone
Triggering a Cactuar by interacting or attacking it will cause it to shoot needles outward. This will deal steady ticks of 100 damage against the nearby Nerscylla Clone but can also deal damage to hunters. You can use the Cactuars in the area to your advantage to slay the clone fast.

Like other creatures manufactured by Omega Planetes, their bodies vanish when slain. So it's theorized that they, too, were manufactured. | |
The Cactuar is a returning Endemic Life from the Final Fantasy XIV Collab of Title Update 3 in Monster Hunter Wilds. It is summoned by Omega Planetes and can be found during its fight.
The Cactuar was introduced into the Monster Hunter series previously in a similar collaboration event for Monster Hunter World, being found across the Wildspire Wastes locale.
