The Monster Hunter Stories 3 collab event is now permanently available! Simply update your game to Version 1.041 to access this side quest.

A Royal Request Collab Side Mission Walkthrough

Talk to Sole in the Scarlet Forest
Head to the base camp in the Scarlet Forest. Sole will introduce you to Rudy who will then give you the collab quest. Take note that you'll have to be HR 9 and above to accept the quest.
Accept the A Royal Request Quest
Head to your Handler and select the A Royal Request found in the Optional Tab when viewing quests. This quest will require you to deliver 4 Monstie Eggs within 50 minutes.
Report Back to Rudy
Once you complete the quest, you can talk to Rudy to finish the collab side quest.

Include the Skill Tool Specialist
The Tool Specialist skill decreases the cooldown for specialized tools. Combine this with the Ghillie Mantle to ensure that its ready whenever you pick up a Monstie Egg!
Set Up Pop-up Camps
Pop-up Camps can be used to deliver Monstie Eggs. We recommend setting up camps in Area 6, 10, and 12 as these are close to the fixed location of Monstie Eggs.
Scarlet Forest Camps and Map Guide
Use the Environment
The Scarlet Forest houses a lot of Endemic Life that can blind and paralyze monsters. Use this as an advantage to run away freely!
Items to Bring
 Ghillie Mantle
|
Use the Ghillie Mantle to instantly disappear from the monsters' gaze! Use in combination with the Tool Specialist skill to shorten its cooldown! |
 Large Dung Pod
|
The Large Dung Pod instantly makes the Rathalos leave the area. This gives you a long time to run in peace! |
 Flash Pod
|
A viable option to make monsters lose sight of you. However, you'll still need to dodge as large monsters like Rathalos will still attack blindly. |
These are the recommended items to bring to ward off the monsters that will chase you once you pick up a Monstie Egg. If you're running short on Flash Pods, the quest itself will supply you with 10 EZ Flash Pods.
