Version 1.000.05.00 Confirmed Changes and Fixes
Artian Weapon Rerolling Still Working
As of Update 1.000.05.00, Artian Weapons can still be rerolled when crafting them. The mechanic did not get any changes after the patch.
Counterstrike Skill Effects Retained
The Counterstrike skill also received no changes and is still working with the Hyper Armor mechanic and the using the Rocksteady Mantle. The skill is still useful for select builds that use it.
Gravios Now Harder to Knock Down
Gravios received a rather unwelcome buff as it is now building up resistance to flinching after breaking its body parts, which was a bug before the update. This means that Gravios will now be harder to knock down no matter how many of its parts are broken during a hunt.
Resuscitate No Longer Working with Frenzy
The Resuscitate skill, which increases attack after recovering from status ailments, now no longer takes effect while being inflicted with the Frenzy ailment.
Nightflower Pollen Farm No Longer Available
Nightflower Pollen, which is mainly used to obtain Gold Melding Tickets for the Melding Pot, can no longer be farmed via The Desert Knows Not The Sea quest.
The quest, which was bugged to always have a full moon where Nightflower Pollen can be picked up, has now been fixed after the patch.

Capture Net Cannot Be Used to Farm Fish
Using Capture Net is no longer an efficient way to farm fishes at fishing spots, as doing so will scare away other fish in the area.

(Some mitigation measures have been implemented.) ・[Fixed] An issue occurring when using Equipment Loadout, causing decorations to be removed from equipment, Bowgun Customization being reverted back to default, and Kinsects reverting to the initial rarity. ・[Fixed] When cutting off monster parts, the parts change into a monster part from a different monster. ・[Fixed] Gravios does not gain resistance to flinches after breaking its parts. ・[Fixed] An issue which may cause crashes or some monsters to act strangely under certain situations. ・[Fixed] Some skills are unintentionally activated under certain conditions. ・[Fixed] Some items/rewards can be obtained repeatedly under certain conditions. ・[Fixed] When trying to catch a fish with a capture net, the fishes nearby do not swim away from the fishing spot. ・[Fixed] Some environmental features such as floating rubbles can be activated multiple times. ・[Fixed] During Main Mission: Chapter 5-2 “The Root Cause,” the hunter becomes unresponsive to some controls when talking to a certain NPC. ・[Fixed] Palico’s support move “Attract Vigorwasps” may cause the hunter to become unresponsive to some controls. ・[Fixed] When scrolling through the quest list, only the first 20 quests are shown correctly. ・[Fixed] An issue which may cause the game to forcefully shut down when starting a game with saved data that encountered a force quit. |
