Monster Hunter Wilds - Bubbleblight Status Ailment Explained
Bubbleblight is a Status Ailment in Monster Hunter Wilds that stiffles your movement while letting you take extra damage. See an explanation for Bubbleblight, and how to cure it in this guide!

Bubbleblight Status Ailment Explained

Gets Worse Due to Bubble Attacks

Bubbleblight
Bubbleblight has two stages, Minor and Major. Minor Bubbleblight is symbolized with an icon of two bubbles, while Major has three.

Minor Bubbleblight will turn into Major if you keep getting hit with bubble attacks. With this in mind, make sure to remove it with a cleanser before it gets worse!

Major Bubbleblight Makes You Slip

When you are inflicted with Major Bubbleblight, you can't evade efficiently as you will stagger and slip at the start of the move.

Take More Damage When Blown Away

If you are blown away by an attack or explosion while having Major Bubbleblight, you will take more damage upon impact.

Use a Cleanser

Cleanser Cleanser

Using a Cleanser will remove the Bubbleblight Status Ailment! So make sure to have some when fighting Mizutsune. They can be crafted with Fire Herb and Godbug Essence.

How to Get and Use Cleanser

Activate Mizutsune's Prowess

Mizutsune's Prowess prevents Bubbleblight. You can activate this by equipping Mizutsune armor.

Be Blown Away

Bubbleblight will be immediately disabled when you are blown away. However, this isn't the best way to remove Bubbleblight as the status ailment makes you take more damage when you are blasted away.

Wait 30 Seconds

If you have no other means of removing Bubbleblight, you can simply wait for 30 seconds until it disappears. This applies to both Minor and Major Bubbleblight.
