---|---|---|
Yian Kut-Ku | Congalala | Rathalos |
The Yian Kut-Ku is a fan favorite that will be returning after being absent for multiple generations.
The Yian Kut-Ku's return is remarkable as it is considered the first significant challenge that veterans of the series encountered.
The Congalala also returns as confirmed by footage in TGS 2024. It still retains its behavior of eating different mushrooms to give its attacks special properties.
The Rathalos is also part of the roster of monsters as confirmed in the announcement trailer. It has almost become a tradition that the Rathalos appears in all iterations of the game.
Volvidon | Basarios | Monoblos | |||
Diablos | Cephadrome | Barroth | |||
Jhen Mohran | Dah'ren Mohran |
The first map revealed in Monster Hunter Wilds is a desert biome called the Windward Plains. It is possible that the desert-dwelling monsters listed above could make another appearance.
Nergigante | Velkhana |
Since Monster Hunter Wilds is touted as the successor to Monster Hunter World Iceborne, there may be a chance that Nergigante and Velkhana could return.
The story of both games are not connected, but the world and setting is likely to be the same.
Zinogre | Tigrex | Nargacuga |
Zinogre, Tigrex, and Nargacuga are fan favorites that have multiple appearances across several games in the series. These flagship monsters are also likely to be in the game.
Kushala Daora | Chameleos | Teostra | |||
Fatalis | White Fatalis |
Elder Dragons are a staple of the series, especially when approaching the endgame. It's expected that Elder Dragons will once again be in the game.
Zinogre | Nergigante | Lagiacrus |
Fan favorites such as the Zinogre, Nergigante, and Lagiacrus may also have a chance of being included in the game. Due to technical limitations stated by the developers, Lagiacrus may not make it at all.
