A giant pillar that Jin Dahaad climbs to fire frost breaths at you. Use your slinger to have it collapse when Jin Dahaad is on top of it. |

This hanging pillar can be hit to drop it on a monster to deal damage and stun them for a moment. |

Hitting these hanging ice chunks creates a cover from Jin Dahaad's most powerful move. It can also deal damage when dropped on monsters. |
 |
Use your Hook Slinger to bring down this wall down and deal massive damage to monsters. |

The gatherable items in Rimechain Peak is primarily to help you out during the Jin Dahaad hunt. Hot Peppers are crafted into Hot Drinks to help you endure the cold and Flashbuf Phosphors are crafted into Flashpods to temporarily blind Jin Dahaad. Light Bowgun and Heavy Bowgun users can also benefit from Blastnut and Slashberry to craft additional ammo.
Rimechain Peak Info
General Information
The Rimechain Peak is a special area within Iceshard Cliffs that you can only access when hunting Jin Dahaad. You cannot fast travel to this location normally.
Exclusive to Hunting Jin Dahaad
This area is exclusive to the Jin Dahaad hunt and features environmental traps to the Jin Dahaad hunt such as the Giant Frozen Pillars and Giant Ice Chunk. A pack of Hirabami can also spawn within the area while hunting Jin Dahaad.
Only Has a Makeshift Camp
This special area does not have a normal camp where you can rest or grill meals. You can still manage items, equipment, or your Palico's equipment from this camp.
