Kunafa, Windsong Village, is the settlement found in the Windward Plains in Monster Hunter Wilds. See the location, quests, the map, and the NPCs and their facilities in this settlement.

Kunafa, Windsong Village is home to the Sandfolk, a tribe of livestock farmers found at the center of the Windward Plains. They use gemchimes to keep monsters out of the village and when the Sandtide comes, they shelter inside their homes.

You're first granted access to the village during Chapter 1-2, Village of Whispering Winds. Complete this Main Mission to freely access the village.

The Kunafa α Armor Set is a 4-piece set you can unlock by obtaining Dalthydon Wool, which are obtained by trading items to Kilama from Kunafa, or Gawdygog from the Wudwud Hideout.

Kilama is the first Item Trader you'll unlock after completing The Eye of the Storm Mission. The various Trade-In items you need can be found in the Windward Plains.
You can also check with Nata at any Base Camp to access the Item Trader Menu.

The number of stars determine the likelihood of getting the item given the weather conditions.
You'll unlock Murtabak as the Material Retrieval NPC once you complete the Beware the Gypceros Side Mission. This NPC will automatically gather 16 stacks of the items you request. However, their yield will depend on the weather conditions of the region.

Occasionally, Y'sai may invite you to a meal in which you can accept to recieve powerful stat boosts. These meals will give you bonuses to Attack, Defense, and Resistances at the same time and will be around twice as strong as the bonuses from the usual meals.
Meal Invitations gives you five total Food Skills, three of which are determined and depends on the NPC, while the other two are random.
