Complete Rex's Request
| 1 |  Talk To Rex to begin this quest. Rex can be found in Suja, Peaks of Accord near the tent and smithy. |

| 2 |  Next, talk to Alma to accept the Optional Quest As Gatekeeper. Make the necessary preparations, and depart when you are ready. |
| 3 |  Defeat both Ajarakan to progress. Since the quest requires you to fight two monsters at once, you may want to consider bringing other Hunters to help you. ┗ Call Upon Allies To Join the Hunt ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Ajarakan |
| 4 | Report back to Rex once you have defeated the Ajarakan. He can be found in Suja, Peaks of Accord standing or sitting by a tent beside the smithy. Rex will express his thanks, and the side mission ends after his dialog concludes. |
Call Upon Allies To Join the Hunt
Fighting two monsters at once can be quite challenging, as you would have to be aware of what each monster is doing at the same time, which can be quite difficult.
Bringing other Hunters to help you can make things a lot easier, as you can fight the two monsters separately, or you can single out one Ajarakan and use Dung Pods to isolate it.

 Ajarakan is vulnerable to Water. Bring a water elemental weapon or use water ammo against it to deal the most damage. Ajarakan can inflict Blastblight and Fireblight. Bring Nulberries to counter both of these afflictions.Pay close attention to Ajarakan when it's ignited, as some of its attacks are enhanced when it's in this state. |

This quest is unlocked after completing the Secure Wounded Hollow side mission and the Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns main mission from Chapter 5. Talk to Rex in Suja to begin this quest.
