The Monster Hunter Wilds Roadmap has been revealed for Title Update 3 and Title Update 4! See the complete roadmap for the game's Autumn and Winter updates, all new and upcoming monsters, release dates, and more!

Title Update 4 brings the return of Gogmazios, a returning Elder Dragon from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.
In this special quest, up to 4 hunters and 4 support hunters can take on Gogmazios. The new support hunters Nadia and Fabius will also be able to join the hunt.

Parts obtained from Gogmazios can now be used to upgrade Rarity 8 Artian Weapons, granting them a Set Bonus Skill and Group Skill, chosen at random.
Upgraded weapons retain their existing reinforcement bonuses, and can be amended for even powerful boosts.

Armor pieces can now be transcended, raising the limits for Armor Sphere upgrades, and increasing the decoration slots of Rarity 5 and 6 armor. Hunters must be at least HR 100 to access Armor Transcendence.

A new seasonal event, Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn, will run from December 19, 2025 to January 14, 2026. The Grand Hub, decor, and meals will receive a makeover to fit the winter season.

An arch-tempered version of Jin Dahaad will be available permanently as an event quest, making it the fourth arch-tempered monster in the roster.
All weapons have received significant buffs to improve their overall performance. In addition, several bug fixes have been implemented to make them more competitive.

PC optimizations are now applied with the arrival of Title Update 4! Work on optimization will continue until February 2026.
Until then, it's recommended to adjust your graphics options to limit the frame rate in accordance with your hardware specifications.
Is There an Optimization Patch?

Arch-tempered Arkveld will be available on February 17, 2026 as the final Arch-tempered monster of the roster.

A special collab with Monster Hunter Stories 3 will also be available in this update. Players can obtain a unique pendant, as well as a palico armor set based on the protagonist's palico, Rudy.

Winning entries from the design contest will be featured in the update, including a new Great Sword and pendant.

Title Update 3 released on September 29, 2025. The main highlight of this update was the Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration, which featured Omega Planetes as a new monster. Omega Planetes is now available to hunt by doing the quest Planetes Protocol.
In addition to Omega Planetes, the collab also featured a Chocobo skin for the Seikret, and a Cactuar that returned as an Endemic Life in the game. Other gameplay additions such as the Blackest Night skill from the FF14 game can now be used as a gesture.

The seasonal event Festival of Accord: Dreamspell arrived in Title Update 3. This event featured a pumpkin-filled Halloween theme for the Grand Hub and was held on October 22, 2025 to November 12, 2025.

The option to automatically assign saved custom outfits to your builds became available with the arrival of TU3. Save Layered Armor loadouts with your equipment to bring out your most fashionable outfits!

The third of the Arch-Tempered Monsters, Arch-Tempered Nu Udra, can now be hunted in a permanent Event Quest called Be Cursed, Ye Shadowy Flame.

Title Update 3 expanded upon the list of 9-star monsters by adding more 9-star quests that features Ajarakan, Guardian Fulgur Anjanath, and Blangoga. Completing their quests will net you with Glowing Stones!

Title Update 3 featured the Cosmetic DLC Pack 3, containing various cosmetic items for your Hunter, Seikret, and Palico, as well as gestures and stickers.
The Version 1.021 update released on August 12, 2025. This update included 9-Star Monsters, Appraised Talismans, increases to meal duration and armor upgrade limits, along with weapon balance adjustments.

9-star difficulty Field Surveys and Investiations have now been added to the game! These endgame hunts are much more difficult than the usual quests, as the monsters are always tempered, and their health and damage outputs are significantly increased. These high-difficulty investigations are only accessible at HR100 and above.
9-star quests are where you can get Appraised Talismans.

Appraised Talismans are Talismans that are appraised from Glowing Stones. These Glowing Stones are obtained from completing 9 Star hunts.
Appraised Talismans are assigned random rarities, skills, and decoration slots. This new Talisman system makes way for more diverse endgame builds!

With the release of 9-star monsters, the max upgrade levels for armors rarity 5 and above have been increased further. This is done so hunters can add a bit more defense before going against these challenging quests.

With the expectation of 9-star hunts possibly taking longer than other hunts, all meal durations have been increased to accomodate for higher-difficulty quests!
The Version 1.021 update brought buffs to nearly every weapon in the game, save for the Hammer that remained untouched.

Monster Hunter Wilds' second Title Update was released on June 30, 2025. This update added new monsters, a new Seasonal Event, new Event Quests, and several new features in the game.

Lagiacrus and Seregios have both returned in Monster Hunter Wilds! Normal variants of both monsters are now available to hunt at HR31, while the tempered counterparts can be hunted at HR41.
Lagiacrus can be unlocked by completing the quest Trembling Blue Currents, while Seregios can be unlocked by completing Clear with a Chance of Sandstorm.

A summer-themed event called Festival of Accord: Flamefete became available from July 23 to August 6. Like the all seasonal events, this festival featured new armor and changes to the Grand Hub.

The Monster Hunter Series celebrated its 20th anniversary by collaborating with Fender. The collab event dropped on August 26, 2025, featuring the limited time quest The Melodic Monarch that will reward the player a collab gesture!

The second paid DLC pack for the game was also released alongside the second Title Update, with new cosmetics and additional equippables available for purchase.
Layered weapons has also been added in Title Update 2. This allows weapons to take on any appearance!
Balance adjustments for various weapons were also implemented with the update. Hammer and Dual Blades mainly received improvements in the update.
Monster Hunter Wilds' Version 1.011 added a collab with Street Fighter 6 featuring new Akuma-Themed Armor and DLC cosmetics. This was released on May 28, 2025, after a brief maintenance.

The update also included the ability to check a list of Captured Endemic Life from Ferdinand at the Windward Plains Base Camp. This allows players to view what species they've caught, and take note of anything missing for collection purposes!

Besides Arkveld and Mizutsune, the end of May update also introduced more 8-star Tempered Monsters with Gore Magala, Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad.

The End of May update also included new armor, skills, and talismans for players to make use of, some of which use materials from the Street Fighter Collab.

Several weapons have also had adjustments added this update, with Hunting Horn and Hammer getting buffed, and the Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, and Gunlance being adjusted.

The End of May update also included several Street Fighter Collab Cosmetics, such as a Blanka Pendant, and non-collab cosmetics like new gestures, stickers, and hunter profile customization options.
Lastly, the update added several bug fixes and quality-of-life changes to several aspects of the game, such as in-game facilities, solo and multiplayer sessions, NPCs, and more.

The first Title Update for Monster Hunter Wilds was released on April 4, 2025, adding new monsters and content to the game.

Three new Monsters arrived with Title Update 1! In addition to the bubbly Mizutsune, the update features HR Zoh Shia, which was only previously available in its Low Rank quest, as well as a Tempered version of Mizutsune. Both will the second and third 8-star monsters in the game, after Tempered Arkveld.
Players were also able to experience fighting Arch-Tempered Rey Dau for a short period, providing new Gamma armor for their hunters and Palicoes.

In addition to new Monsters, Title Update 1 introduced a number of new features, starting with the Grand Hub, harkening back to the Gathering Hub from previous games!
The Grand Hub features Seasonal Events, starting with the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance on April 22 featuring limited equipment and cosmetics. Additional Event Quests have also been confirmed, but it's unclear if these are separate from the Seasonal Events.
Arena Quests and Challenge Quests were also brought back, with a new global Leaderboard feature where players can compete with others across the world for exclusive Pendants. Free Challenge Quests.
Other new features included the ability to customize Alma's outfit, and additional free and paid DLC including gestures, outfits, and more.

Patch notes for the Version 1.010.00.00 of the game was released before Title Update 1 was made available.
Among new content for the first Title Update, several weapons and items received balance adjustments. A couple of bug fixes were also implemented in the update.
