The End of May Update was revealed during the TU1 Update Roadmap reveal, and was released on May 28th, 2025. There was a server maintenance on May 27, ET, before the release of Version 1.011.

End of May Update Monsters
8-Star Gore Magala
An 8-Star Gore Magala was added in the End of May update, featuring increased health, resistance to wounding, and tweaks to multiplayer scaling, presenting as a brand new challenge for High Rank players to conquer!

8-Star Apex Predators
8-Star Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad
The locale apex predators also received 8-Star Tempered Versions. They carry the same increased health, resistance to wounding, and tweaks to multiplayer scaling, which should offer more challenges to High Rank players!
End of May Update Features
Street Fighter 6 Collab
The End of May update also introduced the Street Fighter 6 collaboration, featuring new Akuma-Themed Armor, Gestures, and other cosmetics.

Alongside the Street Fighter collab items, there are new armor, skills, and talismans for players to make use of that were added in the update.

Weapon Adjustments
Several weapons have also had adjustments added this update, with Hunting Horn and Hammer getting buffed, and the Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, and Gunlance being adjusted.
Endemic Life List and Other Features
The update also included the ability to check a list of Captured Endemic Life from Ferdinand at the Windward Plains Base Camp. This allows players to view what species they've caught, and take note of anything missing for collection purposes!
