Here is the full list of all Kinsect Trees available in Monster Hunter Wilds. See a list of Kinsects in the game, including their stats, effects, and recommendations.
List of Contents
Gullshad
|
Windchopper
|
The player will be able to nurture Kinsects after defeating Rey Dau in Chapter 2. It is highly recommended to go for the Kinsects with better speed, Gullshad and Windchopper. Higher speed allows Kinsects to reach their target faster, making extracting and delivering buffs faster.
Fiddlebrix
|
Arkmaiden
|
Once the player can nurture rarity 4 Kinsects, it is recommended to go for Arkmaiden or Fiddlebrix. These Kinsects both have Kinsect Boost: Harvest Extract, which increases the number of buffs a Kinsect can hold at a time. This allows the player to extract buffs more efficiently, as the Kinsect will not need to keep going back and forth between the player and the monster.

To unlock rarity 2 Kinsects, the player will need to defeat Rey Dau in Chapter 2, The Eye of the Storm. Nurturing Kinsects can be done when visiting Gemma.
To unlock rarity 4 Kinsects, the player will need to capture Yian Kut-Ku in Chapter 4, New Ecosystems. After capturing Yian Kut-Ku and completing the mission, the player will unlock High Rank and will now be able to nurture rarity 4 Kinsects. Rarity 4 is the max rarity for Kinsects, so unlocking rarity 4 means the player can now nurture every Kinsect available in the game.

Players can Nurture their Kinsects to receive additional effects. Think of it as a variation of upgrading weapons, needing the player to meet certain monsters and obtain specific materials to unlock the upgrade and new effects!
