Monsters slam their heads into the wall when you mount them as that's their way of trying to knock you off in Monster Hunter Wilds. See how to slam monsters into walls, all the Weathered Ruins Locations and more here!
List of Contents
When you locate the monster you're hunting, observe your surroundings and look for a wall. Once you do, get the monster's attention and lure them to it.
Once the monster is near a wall, do your best to mount them by using jump attacks. This will fill up a hidden meter and will allow you to ride the monster once it is full. Once mounted, you can either attack them on the head or slowly make your way there while mounting.
Eventually the monster will try to knock you off by running into something. Once it does, move to another part of its body and let it slam itself to the wall and let it deal damage to itself.
Do note that your stamina will determine how long you can stay on top of the monster, so try to brace when the monster is shaking you off.
These are the spots you could lead the monster to as these Weathered Ruins deal damage once you or the monster interact with it!
