How to Unlock The Beacon of Invasion

Talk to Rove at the Iceshard Cliffs

The Beacon of Invasion extra mission is unlocked by completing The Artifact's Words, which requires talking to Rove in Area 20 of the Iceshard Cliffs.

Note that the extra mission becomes available only after completing the main mission What Lies Ahead and you've reached at least HR41.

The Beacon of Invasion Main Objectives
1	Slay the Unknown Creatures
2	Slay the Nerscylla

Slay the Unknown Creatures

1	Follow the quest marker towards the cave where you'll find the Talking Artifact. Slay 12 Omega Micros to proceed.

Slay the Nerscylla

1	Follow the quest marker again to find the new creature: Nerscylla Clone. Be wary as this variant of the Nerscylla is capable of firing lasers in addition to its regular attacks. Slay the Nerscylla Clone to return to camp and conclude this extra mission.

You will receive 300 Guild Points after completing this mission. You'll also gain access to the Soul of the Pictomancer, which is useful against the Omega Planetes.
