A species endemic to the Eastlands. They are more common in warm areas, and have no particular interest in bait. They can be found at any time of day on any weather conditions.
The Virid Bowfin can be found in Area 13 and Area 14 of the Windward Plains and several locations in the Scarlet Forest.

How to Catch Virid Bowfin
Use the Capture Net
It is recommended to use the Capture Net to catch Virid Bowfins. While using the Capture Net is a quicker way of catching the Virid Bowfin, make sure you don't miss as there is a chance for the fish to escape after an unsuccessful attempt.
Use the Fishing Rod
Although slower to catch compared to the Capture Net, Virid Bowfins can still be caught using the Fishing Rod.
