How to Unlock Event: Twilight's Gate Challenge Quest

The Event: Twilight's Gate quest is currently available from December 23, 2025 (ET) to February 3, 2026 (ET)!

This challenge quest is the final mission for the Monster Hunter Wilds Taiwan Championship 2026. Hunters who are planning to sign up for the tournament must first pass the qualifying round which will use the Event: Ballerina and Firebird. Those who won't be participating can still enjoy this challenge!

Only Playable from HR 41 or Higher

Grand Hub Quest Counter

To proceed with the Event: Twilight's Gate quest, you'll need to be at least HR 41 to be able to take on the quest at the Grand Hub.

During this event, you will have to slay a Gore Magala. We recommend bringing Fire weapons and aiming for its Antenna to deal a lot of damage.

No Unique Rewards

There are no unique rewards for the challenge quest version of this event. However, you can use this quest to test your skills with the available weapon types.

Winners of the Championship Will Win Numerous Prizes

After passing the qualifying round, which will use the Event: Ballerina and Firebird quest, the remaining contestants will proceed to the final round, which will use the Event: Twilight's Gate challenge quest to determine the winner, based on fastest completion times.

The winners of this quest will receive numerous prizes depending on their performance. The prize pool includes an MSI OLED monitor, a Razer gaming chair, and a Razer PS5 controller.
