How to Get Hard Armor Sphere
Complete 6 to 9 Star Investigations
Hard Armor Spheres can be obtained as Quest Rewards for completing 6, 7, 8, and 9 star Field Surveys and Investigations. Take note that 9 star quests are only available for players HR 100 and above.

Hard Armor Sphere can be acquired from Gawdygog in the Scarlet Forest or Sekka in Suja. However, note that trader inventory rotates daily in-game, so try rechecking at a later time or resting first if the item you're looking for doesn't show.
Obtained via Smelting
Armor Spheres can be crafted by smelting monster parts. Higher-tier Armor Spheres require more smelting points, and Hard Armor Spheres require 1000 points to create.

Armor Spheres are used to increase an armor's defense value, but each Armor Sphere's value increases depending on what armor sphere it is. The more basic Armor Spheres give lesser value than the more advanced ones, so feel free to use the basic ones on low-rank gear.
