Festival Spirit is a Group Skill that gives you one extra carve from a carcass in Monster Hunter Wilds (MH: Wilds). See the skills activated by Festival Spirit, requirements, and armor sets with Festival Spirit.

Carving Master gives you an extra carve on any monster within a quest. It stays active at any point (even when joining in the middle of any SOS or lobby quest) so as long as you do not swap in and out of the matching set bonus pieces.
Gives an Extra Carve During a Quest
Carving Master allows one (1) extra carve from Carcass only during a quest. Its activation is indicated in the right-hand side as an effect pop-up notification when you carve a monster.
The skill will activate on any carcass in a quest: it may be large or small, a quest target or not, making it a good set bonus for a gathering set.
Note that carcass striclty means means a corpse which is different from a Bonepile. Make sure the body you are gathering from has the word 'Carcass' in its prompt.

Stacks with Carver Meal Buff
Carving Master stacks with the Carver Meal buff you get from eating group meals from Meal Invitations (specifically the Azuz Meal), giving you a possibility of up to 4 extra carves in total. Group meals can also be accessed via the Grand Hub's canteen if you have Pick-a-meal Vouchers or their corresponding meal voucher.
Pick-a-meal Vouchers can be obtained through various ways such as login bonuses, Arena Quests, and bounties. They can also be obtained as special item rewards quest completions with the Blossomdance Boon skill activated by at least having 2 pieces of Sakuratide armor.
