Guardian Doshaguma can inflict Defense Down during the hunt, so it's important to bring Adamant Seeds or Armorskins to cure it, especially if you don't have the Iron Skin skill. Adamant Seeds are better to bring compared to Armorskins as they are easier to obtain and faster to consume.
Don't forget to bring your healing items as Guardian Doshaguma deals a lot of damage. Utilizing traps and mantles will also help you in your hunt.

Some energy attacks cause Wylk Crystals to spawn from the ground. Hitting these crystals with elemental slinger ammo causes them to explode with the element of the ammo, dealing damage to anyone nearby. These explosions not only deal good damage to Guardian Doshaguma, but can also topple it.
Whenever Guardian Doshaguma does some of its energy attacks, one of its forelegs can become a Weak Point. When it glows red in Focus Mode, Focus Strike its foreleg to stagger G. Doshaguma.
Take note that not all energy attacks show this Weak Point. Look carefully when G. Doshaguma raises its paw after an energy attack. That's when the Weak Point can show up.
How to Use Focus Mode and Focus Strike
Similar to normal Doshaguma, Guardian Doshaguma gets wounded easily during the hunt. Make sure to take advantage of this and Focus Strike the wounds to stagger and even topple G. Doshaguma. Just be wary that since this monster is a Guardian, it can heal its wounds fairly quickly.
Most of Guardian Doshaguma's attacks are projected to its front, especially its most dangerous attacks. Because of this, it's safest to stick by its side and attack its forelegs.
Guardian Doshaguma's saliva is acidic, inflicting Defense Down to hunters hit by it during its slobber flicking attack. Consumable items that raise defense such as Adamant Seeds, Armorskins, and Mega Armorskins can cure this status ailment. Adamant Seeds are most recommended as they are the easiest to get and fastest to consume among the three.
Moves labeled with a shield icon indicate that you can trigger a Power Clash with them. On the other hand, moves labeled with a sword icon indicate that you can counter them with an Offset Attack.
