First Encounter: Forest Findings Description: Congalala are Fanged Beasts with potent breaths that can inflict various ailments depending on the mushrooms they consume. |

Beast Gems have a 3% chance to drop as a target reward of a High Rank Congalala. It also has a 5% chance to drop from carving Congalala. It is highly recommended to slay the monster instead of capturing it so the player will have 3 extra chances to get a Beast Gem from carving on top of the 3% that comes from the target rewards. Low Rank Congalala does not drop Beast Gem.
Congalala is susceptible to all elemental damage, so it is highly recommended to equip a weapon with elemental damage when going to hunt it.
Flippant Flatulence Optional Quest
When going to hunt Congalala, it is recommended to take the Flippant Flatulence optional quest. This will guarantee Congalala spawning in the Scarlet Forest and the player will have a chance to get the Beast Gem drop from the quest rewards.
