The fastest and safest way to deliver a Giant Frost Fossil is by traveling through the cliffs connecting Area 7 (where the Giant Frost Fossil can be harvested) to Area 4. You will pass through areas that will make you slide through snowy areas but controlling your direction isn't as difficult as it seems.
Once at the edge of the first cliff by the Frozen Fossil, you will need to jump down but with the help of Wirebugs. Using Wirebugs before you land makes it so you can land safely and not drop your Fossil.
You need to jump and do this a total of 3 times in this route. The first one is by the Frozen Fossil cliff, while the second and third ones will be once you jump down from the cliffs leading to Area 4.
When on the ground, you are a few steps away from a tall wall of vines that you can climb up. Reaching the top, you will find yourself at the back end of your main camp.

Delivering Giant Frost Fossils nets you 2300 Zenny and Kamura Points after a quest. But if you're grinding for Zenny and Kamura Points, delivering transport items is definitely not the way to go as it takes too long.
