Version 1.041 brings new 10-star event quests with arch-tempered monsters that are significantly harder than 9-star quests. It's recommended to have a well-optimized build and maxed-out defenses when taking them on.

Battle-tempered Emblems are Facility Items that are used for points towards the following mechanics in the game:
Reinforce Gogma Artian Weapons
Battle-tempered Emblems are used to reinforce on Gogma Artian Weapons. Each emblem is worth 3,000 Points when used for reinforcements.
Smelt Ores and Armor Spheres
Battle-tempered Emblems are also used to smelt Armor Spheres for upgrading armor pieces, as well as Ores to reinforce Artian Weapons. Each emblem is worth 1,500 Points when used for smelting.
Best Ways to Farm Armor Spheres
Meld Relics and Decorations
Battle-tempered Emblems can also be used to meld relics for crafting Artian Weapons and decorations for activating skills. When melding, each emblem is worth 960 points toward relics and 300 points toward decorations.
