Omega Data 1.0s have an 8% chance of dropping as a target reward for successfully hunting Omega Planetes. Omega Planetes is featured as the monster to hunt in the quest Invader From the Stars as a part of the Final Fantasy XIV Collab in Title Update 3.
Omega Planetes Weakness and Drops

Once you finish the Invader From the Stars assignment, an optional quest called Planetes Protocol will be available. This optional quest is repeatable and will allow you to farm Omega Planetes for its materials.

When facing Omega Planetes, playing with a group that has defined roles is highly recommended. This makes the hunt much more manageable as this allows your group to assign tanks, supports, and damage dealers.
If you're playing solo, hunting with Support Hunters is recommended as they will automatically take aggro. We recommend taking Alessa to function as a tank and taking Kai to function as a support.
