A Support Hunter from the Hunters Guild Forbidden Lands Expedition Team. He wields a Hunting Horn that can provide a wide range of offensive and defensive support.
Added During Title Update 3
Kai's debut comes with Title Update 3, which released on September 28, 2025. Kai was added with the intent to help out solo players who will hunt Omega Planetes, whose hunt is best tackled with hunters that have roles. As a Support Hunter that wields a Hunting Horn, he can fill out the support role for the team.
You can select which Support Hunters will appear during a quest after selecting one from your Handler or the quest board.
Call Support Hunters to Aid You in Hunts
Support Hunters, like Olivia, are NPCs that you can call upon to help you in hunts. They differ from Hunting Assistants as they hunt the monster with you and don't idle in a single area.

Complete A Hunter's Pride Main Mission
Completing the main mission A Hunter's Pride will unlock Kai as a support hunter. This mission is available on Windward Plains and becomes available after completing The Investigation Continues main mission.
