Your Palico will receive 1.5 times more experience at the end of a quest. A prompt will appear in your quest results screen to indicate that Trainer Meal has taken effect.

Random Effect From Cooking With an Additional Ingredient

Cooking in Tent

Trainer Meal is a random food skill you can get when consuming a meal made from cooking inside your tent or with the Portable BBQ Grill. You must at least add an Additional Ingredient for a chance to get the Trainer Meal.

Do note that random food skills cannot be obtained when eating meals cooked only with rations. Additionally, any food skills obtained from cooking with an Additional Ingredient will last for 70 minutes.
