Hello! You don't need to move the rod upwards when the fish jumps, as it will leap on its own. We have clarified the guide with this. Thank you so much!
So the guide says to move your rod upwards (W on keypad) when the fish jumps, but it says to slam the fish "down". The game prompts you to click LMB. Do you pull up with W while the fish jumps, and then press LMB at its highest point? Is that it specifically?
You don't need a specific bait to catch whoppers if you want to get it early for say the great sword with the spear tuna you just need to catch it with common bait it might just attract other fish too
Hello! The page has been updated with clearer information on which bait to use in order to catch a Whopper Fish. In this case, it would be the Tuff Joint Bait given at the start of the Mission. Upon checking in-game, there is also no specific weather or time of day required to catch the Whopper Fish during this Mission. We hope this helps!
Is there is no specific weather or time of day needed for this one?
After fishing for flavor side quest you get a large lure.
